How to use LivTorgex with OKX : A step-by-step Guide

This guide will help you integrate OKX with LivTorgEx in simple and easy-to-follow steps. Whether you’re new to trading or an experienced user, you’ll find this guide helpful for setting up your account and using LivTorgEx effectively.

OKX Exchange

OKX is a leading cryptocurrency exchange that offers advanced financial services and trading solutions for digital assets, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other popular tokens. It is renowned for its security, liquidity, and user-friendly interface. ​

Step 1 : Register on OKX

  • To use LivTorgEx, you must have an OKX account. If you don't have one yet, you'll need to complete the registration process. Follow this step-by-step guide to create your OKX account here.
  • Complete the registration process by providing your email and verifying your account.

Ensure your account is verified to use API features and advanced tools​​

Step 2 : Creating an API Key on OKX

After registering, log in to your OKX account to create API 

  1. Go to the API keys page and select "Create APIs"

2. Complete the API form. Make sure to :

    • Set "read" and "trade"
    • Remember to copy and paste the IP address from the BOT to OKX  : 37.27.204.8

Users must check the IP address from the "ADD" API form in LivTorgEx.

3. Once the key is created, save the following information securely : 

Important to save :

  1. Passphrase
  2. API key
  3. Secret Key

Step 3 : Adding the API Key to LivTorgEx

 If you do not have an account, go to LivTorgEx and sign up.

  1. Log in to LivTorgEx and go to the API page and click "ADD". 

2. Click the "ADD" button and enter the API details you saved earlier (Passphrase, API Key, Secret Key).

3. Max active Bots : 30 (which means the limit of on-going positions)

3. click "Create" to finalize the addition of the API key.

You can add multiple API keys if you plan to manage multiple accounts or strategies for one Exchange Provider 

The launched bot checks for the presence of an API key and if it is missing, it will stop the bot.

Step 4 : Setting up Trading Mode on OKX

  1. Log in to OKX, Go to "Trade" section >> select "Future"

2. G​o to setting button >> account mode

3. Select "Spot and future mode" >> confirm by clicking "Switch"​

The default setting for perpetual trading symbols will be isolated

The bot trades with cross margin to maximize your capital, you can double check your trading to cross margin.

Step 5 : Changing or Updating IP Address for OKX

  1. To change IP address in OKX, you need to go to the OKK API keys page .
  2. Find your selected API and click "Change".

3. Replace the old IP address with the new one and click "OK".

4. In the next window you will need to enter the verification codes sent to your email or phone.

The current list of IP addresses may be updated. Please recheck it in LivTorgEx everytime you want to make change !
